Needs a userscript extension. How to install

Started as a pile of separate little scripts for MFC, now merged into one. Collections load all pages at once and can be filtered and sorted, item pages get every official image and a cleaner comment section, the frontpage becomes skimmable, and search stops firing a request on every keystroke. The red IX button next to your user menu opens the settings, where each feature can be turned off.

Item pages

  1. Comment filterSplits comments into tabs: normal, shop, and buy/sell (with your own list of buy/sell terms).
  2. All official imagesShows every official image thumbnail instead of the first few.
  3. Larger imagesLoads item images in the large size instead of the medium one.
  4. JAN code helpersClick a JAN code to copy it; a Hpoi button searches the same code on Hpoi.

Collections

  1. Multi-page loadingLoads every page of a collection view at once, with retries, and adds a quick filter.
  2. Collection organizerSort items of your own collection into named, color-coded buckets by drag and drop (or tapping on phones).
  3. Picture countsBadges showing how many pictures each item of your collection has, and sorting by that count.
  4. Item importerBulk import button on the collection manager page.
  5. Diaporama toggleA switch in the user menu between the large-image and the normal icon view.

Search and browse

  1. Calmer suggestionsSearch suggestions are requested only after you stop typing.
  2. Search term keptThe header search box keeps your term on result pages.
  3. Garage kit filterOne button to exclude or include garage kits on browse pages.
  4. No trash icon clutterHides the trash icon on items you just removed from a list.

Frontpage

  1. Inline notificationsNotifications listed on the frontpage, with mark-as-read.
  2. Blog previewsBlog text on hover, character and word counts, comment previews.
  3. Article blockerHide blog posts from chosen users.
  4. Dismissable announcementsHide announcements you have already read.
  5. Frozen GIFsAnimated GIFs stay still until you press play.

Everywhere

  1. Readable tab titlesPage titles that say which item, list or search you are looking at.
  2. Auto-reloadReloads automatically when MFC answers with "Service Unavailable".
  3. Plain external linksExternal links open directly instead of through a confirmation popup, and middle-click works again.
